TENFIL Sealant paste in aqueous dispersion TENFIL TF400 is a PTFE-based thread sealant in water dispersion, which increases the tightness of the threaded parts and prevents leakage of gases. TF400 can be used at temperatures from -45 ° C to + 150 ° C (-49 ° F to + 302 ° F). The product is intended for the assembly of fittings and threaded joints of different kinds of pipes.
SPECIAL PROPERTIES
Cold usage.
Good resistance to ALCOHLS, ALIPHATIC SOLVENTS, GLYCOLS, OILS, GREASES.
Moderate resistance to AROMATIC SOLVENTS, ESTESR, KETONES.
UL 1356 approved for use with METHANE, BUTANE, PROPANE, NATURAL GAS (GPL).

SAFETTY
TENFIL TF400 should be handled like other Lineplus PTFE resin. When PTFE resin are heated to temperatures above 350°C, a small amount of decomposition products, which may be harmful, are given off. Avoid inhalation of these fumes. Ovens and process equipment should be vented and adequate ventilation provided in the working area. STORAGE AND STABILITY
TENFIL TF400 is stable for one year if stored in original unopened container at temperatures between +4°C - +35°C (39,2°F – 95°F).
